Good Reason Concerts: Belinfante Quartet
We are looking forward to the Friends Concert NSKA that will take place on September 27th at the Waalse Kerk Amsterdam. The concert starts at 8:00 PM. Prior to the concert, you can attend a public masterclass by artistic director Marc Danel from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
The performers are the Otilka Quartet, the new post-academic quartet of NSKA, and the Cong Quartet, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary with a tour across Europe. The program will include works by Haydn, Webern, and Debussy. For tickets to the Friends Concert: click here

We guide young talented quartets to a successful future in the international performing arts. The academy was founded by Stefan Metz in 2001 and the artistic direction has been in the hands of Marc Danel, primarius of the Danel Quartet, since 2011.
Our courses are distinguished by an all-round and specialized curriculum with musical education at post-academic level, workshops in cultural entrepreneurship, concerts via the NSKA network and facilities such as rehearsal and recording locations and residencies. Even after a study, our doors remain open for long-term mentorship for our ensembles. In addition to string quartets, saxophone quartets and piano trios have also been very welcome over the last years. Alumni such as the Matangi, Rubens, Ragazze, Dudok, Ardemus and the Animato Quartet give color and face to the versatile Dutch and international ensemble culture. In recent years, the NSKA has also increasingly grown into the central location for programmers and audiences, based on its role to develop talents.
The NSKA is continuously developing to anticipate in the future musical landscape and audience based on our mission.
The NSKA offers a range of educational opportunities such as: a two-year full-time education, music education, masterclasses, concerts, workshops in entrepreneurship, education à la carte and an introductory program

Are you interested in our lectures?
Gaining concert experience and building your own professional network is essential for every starting ensemble. Our quartets perform dozens of times a year. The NSKA has a permanent place in the series of lunchtime concerts series in the Concertgebouw, TivoliVredenburg Utrecht and the Stadsgehoorzaal Leiden. But our ensembles are also welcome to be seen and heard on local and regional stages, festivals and chamber music series. Would you like to offer a stage to NSKA quartets?
